Sujud ("we," "our," or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information we collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the app:

Account data: Email, password (hashed), and optional profile info (name, gender) you provide during signup.
Location: Used solely to calculate accurate prayer times. We do not store your precise location long-term.
Prayer logs: Which prayers you've marked complete, stored to show your progress and streaks.

2. What we do NOT collect

Sujud does not collect, store, or share:

Which apps you use or when you use them
Screen time data or device usage statistics
Screenshots, screen recordings, or any visual data
App blocking choices beyond what's needed to enforce blocking on your device

App blocking uses Apple's Screen Time API. Blocking is enforced locally on your device. We never receive or log which apps you've selected to block or any usage data from Screen Time.

3. How we use your information

To provide prayer times based on your location
To store your prayer completion and streak data
To enable optional features (friends, accountability) if you choose to use them
To send you prayer reminders if you enable notifications

4. Data storage and security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase. Passwords are hashed. We use industry-standard practices to protect your information.

5. Third parties

We use Supabase for authentication and database storage. We use the Aladhan API for prayer time calculations. We do not sell or share your data with advertisers or other third parties.

6. Your rights

You can delete your account at any time. Doing so will remove your profile, prayer logs, and all associated data from our systems.

7. Children

Sujud is not designed for children. We do not knowingly collect data from users under 13. The app is intended for individual adult users managing their own devices.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email.
